The 52@65 project is located 0.28 miles north of CR 300 near Lebanon, in Boone County, Indiana. The new interchange is open to traffic! This interchange is designed to accommodate long term mobility needs by improving traffic flow, enhancing safety, and supporting anticipated economic and residential growth in the Boone County corridor.
Need
As currently constructed, the
I-65/US 52 interchange only provides partial access for motorists. Vehicles are required to use the SR 47 and SR 32 interchanges to reach the areas east and west of I-65 near the US 52 interchange, as well as less direct routes through residential areas and downtown Lebanon.
Benefits
The project will provide improved mobility and direct access to the areas east and west of I-65, north of Lebanon. In addition to providing these immediate benefits to the community, this project will allow the region to handle future connectivity and access requirements.
Timing
The 52@65 interchange is now open to traffic! Drivers should anticipate short-term lane closures in the area as crews finalize remaining construction tasks.
